The Pop Star Portrays a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film Preview
The celebrated musician is gearing up for a substantial cinematic appearance in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist portrays what she calls as a twisted version of her public image.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever encountered, the star remarked.
She further explained in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept originated from the demand to create one.
A Sneak Peek into The Film
The first teaser, launched on this week, combines real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined off-stage interactions.
The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who explained that the narrative revolves around a reality where Charli took completely different paths during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

The film is a single one of many future movie projects for Charli, who already starred in three festival films this year.

Soundtrack Involvement
The month of February will also include the release of the filmmaker’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will feature new music from Charli.
She is also set to create the soundtrack for the film Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released next year.
The film is set to premiere on January 30.
